Join us for an inspiring and creative workshop celebrating cultural diversity and community connection, inspired by the 150th anniversary of the Heart of Midlothian Football Club! This special milestone reminds us of the power of unity and inclusion, and we’ll use it as a backdrop to create a collaborative artwork that blends personal stories, cultural heritage, and iconic symbols of Edinburgh.
What to Expect:
Reflect on your unique cultural background and express it through your own individual painting.
Connect with others by sharing your personal stories and symbols of identity.
See your piece become part of a larger collaborative artwork that celebrates diversity and unity.
No prior art experience is needed—just bring your creativity and an open heart! Each participant will create their own piece of art, and together, we’ll assemble these works into a single, unified masterpiece. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to explore how diversity strengthens our communities while honoring the legacy of one of Edinburgh’s most beloved institutions.
Together, we’ll create an artwork that reflects our individual journeys and celebrates how we all belong to the greater fabric of the local and global community. Come celebrate, create, and connect with us!
This class is sponsored by Edinburgh Council.
It is FREE and is aimed at our International Community of the South West Edinburgh.
