The rave reviews about Apex are entirely justified. Highly skilled team, but here's the X factor.... Buying a musical instrument is a conversation and can be very expensive. As buyers we want to enjoy that conversation and Apex provide friendly, expert and totally unpressured advice.

There aren't many "proper" guitar shops still around any more (not with the big volume online retailers). Recommended by my guitar teacher, Apex is a great find. Friendly, honest and helpful, they were great with advice and sorted my guitar set-up. Will be back again for sure. Many thanks!

This is a fantastic independent music shop, and Tony and Alan were really helpful and fast with my repair. Took in my Little Martin - it needed restringing and a little repair done to the jack - and it was done within the day! Super friendly service and really accommodating. Can't recommend them enough, and will be back for sure.

Just had my telecaster upgraded and custom work done at Apex Music. Alan @ Apex Music advised what pickups to go with (Seymour Duncan’s Slash series) and also to replace the tuners with matching gold locking ones, also pickup switching options. So full install of pickups and split coil switch and new tuners, full setup, all done within a couple of days.
