As always parking is a little bit tight but free the tea is well priced and serviced a nice sized mug 👍 And the absolute highlight was watching a two-seater spitfire take off and land so close you could nearly touch it The noise is something to behold UPDATE on the car park they have now quadruple size of the car park more than enough space for bikers and cyclists

Andrew is a fantastic teacher. His flexible approach put me at ease when he assessed my RT practical after I was struggling a little. I’ve just got home after a 1 hour trial flying lesson in a 2-seater Cessna with Andrewsfield Aviation. The whole experience was fantastic and Norman who normally flies 747s was a great instructor. He took off and landed but most of the time I had the controls! We flew to Colchester, flew around a few of the sights including the zoo, uni and barracks and then flew back. I bought my girlfriend an hour trial flight in a Cessna 152, which she carried out today very successfully! She absolutely loved it and wants to give big thanks to her instructor Norman for making her flight so relaxed & fun, she wants to do it all over again!
