Beautiful place to visit, facilities leave a lot to be desired. Not being able to get a drink after the game was also a downer. Still, at least I got to see some steam trains.

Great facility for kids cricket but be aware that it seems to have a micro climate - very windy and chilly on an otherwise hot day. Will bring a jumper next time!

Alton fields a team in the Southern Premier Cricket League. It has the Watercress steam railway running past during the matches. Very friendly atmosphere. Parking a bit limited.

My children attend the cricket camps here. They love it and we think it is excellent value and very well run

Very pleasant afternoon watching the cricket - i would say that parking is a real issue on match days as there are very limited number of spaces and if you're not local finding alternative parking is difficult
