Alterknit Universe (Wool Shop)

Lovely friendly staff, full of good advice and selling interesting and environmentally-friendly will and yarn. I'm definitely visiting again! (Update - still just as lovely!)

Really good quality, local wool with the fewest air miles possible. Great selection of high end yarn, often by very small makers. This shop is PACKED - don't miss it! And the people who work there are incredibly helpful as well as lovely to chat to! Definitely recommend this wool shop - also has buttons, patterns, needles and hooks etc

Popped in for the first time and the staff were absolutely lovely, the range of yarns was fab - if you're looking for somewhere with indie yarns, different yarns, or anything other than the mass produced stuff, this shop is perfect.

A hidden gem! The most welcoming craft shop I have been in, instantly met with smiling faces. It's been some time since I visited, but I can't recommend this shop more. A good selection of yarns and all things in between. Thank you for some of my favourite crafting yarns/ wool
