All About The Sew

Last Saturday I attended Lorna’s Cielo Top workshop. It was a great day and Lorna explains everything really well, giving lots of tips throughout the day too. Everyone is made to feel really welcome and I’m looking forward to booking my next workshop. Even though we didn’t quite finish our tops Lorna made sure that we all knew the final steps to finishing them at home.

Really enjoyed the beginner's sewing evening class and I had no previous experience with a sewing machine. Lorna was a great teacher and explained the basic machine setup and stitches. She was very attentive and gave some good tips for using the machine. I'm really impressed with the cushion I've made and will be looking to attend the quilting class next.

Attended a patchwork and quilting class with Lorna this week. It was fantastic. Lorna is a patient and encouraging teacher and really enthusiastic about all things sewing. It was a great experience and good value for money. I’m very proud of my quilting effort! Have signed up my kids to come at half term. Thanks Lorna.

I’ve completed two courses with Lorna now and have had a brilliant experience both times. Great atmosphere, Lorna is a wonderful, warm teacher and the sessions are a lovely sociable experience. I’m constantly checking the classes to see what takes my fancy next!

After many years of not sewing I wanted to reconnect with my sewing machine so booked onto a skirt making course with Lorna. The support, guidance and instructions Lorna provided was just what I needed and gave me the confidence to get started again. Highly recommended.
