I was in the US Air Force, stationed at RAF Woodbridge, from 1977 to 1980. I lived at Aldeburgh House, right down the road. I was an avid golfer, and held a single digit handicap. Course in good condition after heavy rain. Very strong layout featuring many long par fours. No par 5's! Snack lunch was very nice. Clubhouse closed at 5.30 pm so had to change in the carpark afterwards. Not ideal before a 3 hour drive home. This is a 2 ball club, so only singles and Foursomes.

The same as Aldeburgh Golf Course in Googlemaps. Although a fantastic course, in land links with terrific hard fairways and fast greens. Challenging but great fun. A must visit if you're in the area.
