Mark has been an excellent teacher and guide. I had the 'skill' to get up the rock but no idea how to set anything up safely. Not only did Mark teach me how to do that (even to the point he felt confident to use my gear placement and anchors) but he took me up some meager routes I would never have been confident or technically able to tackle on my own. All that and super chilled and good craic.

Mark took me on my first ever multipitch route (Golden Oldie on Aonach Mor) and gave me the confidence I needed to progress in the mountains! He knows his stuff inside out and is a great guy to have a day out if. If you are seeking a safe and enjoyable experience in the mountains, Mark is the man!

Mark is a superb guide, been on many days out with him, he’s a passionate mountaineer, climber and outdoorsman. Everything is done with safety in mind and he talks you through what he’s doing as well as providing great advise on anything from anchors to climbing technique, all round good guy and a great choice if you’re looking to get guided

Alba Accents is an Exceptional Guiding company. The staffs local knowledge, manor and customer care is unbeatable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to further their outdoor experiences in Hill walking, Outdoor Climbing, etc. Mark is a very professional individual and extremely easy to get along with. He will make you come away with a better understanding and appreciation of the local area and the outdoor sport side of Fort William.

I have been on three different climbs with Alba Ascents, CMD route then Ledge route both on Ben Nevis and a rock climbing session on the crags in Glen Nevis. Always a fun day out, very professional guide with lots of local knowledge. Looking forward to my next trip with you.
