Acres Way is a great place to re-home a dog . You have to make a appointment to look at the dogs, you can not just turn up like you used to. The staff there are friendly, A lot of people are volunteers and some have been there years . When I got my last dog I enjoyed taking one of the dogs for a walk to the top of the road, it felt like you were giving something back in the way of a thank you for letting them look at the dogs . I was disappointed that I was told that they did not need me to w...

Please read fully.... After alot of research we thought we'd found the best option for our Yorkshire Terrier whilst we were on holiday, long story short it was an awful experience. That's when my sister in law recommended Acres Way to us, we visited and liked it. It's basic but has great space and kind workers who are really hands on. Had to do a lovely review for Acres Way, I was so reluctant to put Rosie into kennels while we were away as I've never done it before , safe to say she was very well looked after and I had no problems after picking her up , she came out tail wagging which was a good sign that she'd enjoyed her stay , got sent pictures while we were away which was lovely to see her happy , highly recommended and I would have no problem leaving her with them when we go away again . Thankyou to all of the doggy ...

Dog re-homeing & boarding kennels. We regularly visit & walk dogs awaiting a new forever home, which is beneficial to both ourselves & the dogs. But extreme caution is required, as you may fall in love with an individual & feel compelled to have it join your family, on a permanent basis. The animals are always happy to return home, after a walk, which is a reflection of the level of care provided by the friendly staff.
