The club with the most famous name in bridge! Where the Acol system was originally invented (albeit the club was in a different building round the corner in those days). Very friendly and welcoming, they’ll take care of you whatever level you’re at. We wondered if people would come back after switching to online play during the pandemic, but it’s getting busy again these days and there’s enough buzz to keep the energy up. Amazing club open to all ages and levels! They host supervised sessions and classes for beginners, as well as pro-level competitions. Everyone is so friendly and happy to help, and the food is amazing too :)

Probably the best bridge club in North London. Always a good game and good turnout. Also the club manager, Noorul, is a brilliant cook and on some nights it has food in a completely different class to any other bridge club of its kind. It also has an excellent teaching programme and a few holidays to attractive, well-chosen places.

This friendly club is open 364 days a year offering 17 playing sessions a week over four different levels of play with several training courses offered three times a year from starters to advanced. There are as many as 50 players in some sessions so you can arrive without a partner. There is a strong team of professionals whose objective is to ensure that you enjoy yourself. I learnt to play bridge here in 2011 and I regularly play twice a week. This club has improved the quality of my life!
