Went on the introduction to plumbing course and I really enjoyed it. The instructor, Richard, was great and I learnt lots relavent to my bathroom at home. We did super exciting things like pipe bending and soldering, but Rich was very knowledgeable and gave us multiple ways of doing things so that as a DIYer you wouldn't need to buy all the tools a plumber has.

I completed level 1carpentry course which was for 10 weeks. The first 2 weeks for the induction I came out of worse than when I started the course the trainer was very good at showing us how to do things and talk down at us. I recently completed the 5 day intensive introduction to plumbing course with Sam and Richard. They are excellent instructors, really friendly and helpful. The course was very well organised and covered lots of information with invaluable practical experience. I would definitely reccomend the course to others.

I've taken 3 courses with Able Skills this year: Oct 2021 - Introduction to Plastering (5 days) Nov 2021 - Introduction to Tiling (5 days) Nov 2021 - Advanced Tiling (5 days) My background is project management (IT related) so other than the odd DIY job, I'm very new to plastering and tiling, but wanted to learn some skills so I could ideally do more work myself at home. It's amazing how much you cover in 5 each day course and how, as the week progresses, you see your standard, quality and...
