  • It would be a great place if it wasn’t for some of its members (women particularly) that are quite dreadful to new members, and unfortunately even if they are a minority they are a very loud and obnoxious minority. They take it so seriously that you would think they are Olympians and they ruin it for the majority that enjoy it as a hobby.

  • Grim and grey on a late autumn Sunday morning but a good place to row.

  • Speeding through, causing my and every other boat to be thrown everywhere. SLOW DOWN for goodness sake, especially near the banks and moored boats.

  • Lovely club with friendly members and a positive vibe. Great coaches and lots of experienced members and a great stretch of the Thames to boot. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

  • A wonderful rowing club that supports the community. All age groups represented and a lovely stretch of the River Thames on which to row.
