Andy is an experienced teacher, writer and imparter of knowledge. He calmly and professionally teaches martial arts but also his accumulated wisdom and witticisms about life and his learning. A great tutor and mentor.

I cannot speak highly enough of UFS. The teaching is always exciting and designed to make you think about yourself and your art while introducing new aspects. You learn both the physical and philosophical parts, which support the whys and hows. The environment is a friendly and supportive one. Everyone helps each other at every grade to become better. I would say if you are thinking about giving it a go, then try a few sessions. So much content is covered; one night is not enough!

I’ve been a member of the club for over 5 years and love what it gives me. Training is great for physical and mental wellness plus the group of friendly and hardworking people here. Andy is incredibly well connected and brings in regular experts with varied knowledge to special events. Of course, Andy is a fountain of knowledge with huge experience which he regularly shares. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to join UFS at A.G’s 👍🏻

I have been training for four years and I love it! The atmosphere it great, everyone is welcome and knowledge is freely shared. I started out with no experience and I didn’t know anyone, but that didn’t matter as I was made to feel part of the group immediately. Learning martial arts at AGs was one of the best decisions I have made.
