4 Gaits Riding School

Fantastic, well organised yard and a very welcoming community of horsey folk. I haven't ridden in a few years and was made very welcome. I joined in the Wednesday morning Rusty Riders group which is a great way to get back in the saddle and gain confidence. Looking forward to hacking out in the stunning neighbouring countryside.

Based on communication only, which was excellent, and responded to my enquiries quickly. Have yet to book a riding lesson, which I hope to treat myself to very soon.

As an owner of many years our experience of livery yards has not been encouraging. We tentatively stepped into the 4 gaits DIY yard with trepidation only to find they are a polite and friendly bunch! The stables are big and airy and the storage is great. A walker is not a thing for us but useful for anyone wanting it. Bought a 30 minute jack for my birthday. Complete novice, my partner and I were walked round with a lovely 14 year old I didn’t get her name and her own horse Belle, she was an absolute gem. So mature and comforting when I was a little hesitant. My partners walker I think was Kay so chatty and really helped put us at ease. Had a lovely hack through the woods. A really lovely experience with two amazing horses, and helpers. I will 100% be back with my daughter. Thank you. Job well done.

First time for my daughter on a horse. The girl that took her out was exceptional, cannot rate this experience more highly.
