About Ufton Court
On Ufton History school trips, children are immersed in the past. Whether exploring the Grade 1 Tudor Manor House, flogging Boudicca in the Celtic Roundhouse or curing a cursed field as a Saxon, all our activities use the unique resources at our disposal to inspire and engage your group. Our 40 acre site in Berkshire includes ancient woodland, a Viking long ship, Celtic settlement, medieval ponds and Tudor Manor House complete with secret priest holes. We have a wide range of curriculum linked programmes for your class at both KS1 and KS2. Each historical programme follows its own story line – perhaps your children will become part of the Saxon Readingas settlers or a Tudor Petty Constable investigating strange goings on at the allegedly Catholic Manor.
