Description

1:1 tuition

There are three shadow yoga preludes; you can read more about them, and Tim Cummins Yoga, by visiting my website.

This module consists of 6 x 60 min classes (p/prelude). The number of classes may be increased as per the requirement of the individual.
Note: Learning the preludes can take far longer than 6 weeks, and mastering them can take several years.

This course may be used as:

  1. A starting point for learning the shadow yoga forms; focusing on one prelude p/module
Note: Students are required to do at least one ‘in real life’ class to conclude their learning of each prelude unless they live in a different country/prohibitively far away

  1. A refresher course for practitioners with previous experience; focusing on aspects of any prelude as required

Please bear in mind, that any student that I haven't previously taught, who wishes to book any Yoga Modules between 2-5, must first complete Yoga Module 1 so that I can observe their practice/level of experience, whilst also giving time to form a student/teacher relationshipDiscount available for small groups (not available to students booking via Cademy Marketplace):

  • 10% discount p/extra person, p/module for first 3 students (Maximum of 20% discount p/module)

  • £5 discount when the module is paid for via BACS

  • No restriction on group size

Schedule:

  • Although these are private bookings, the dates and times of classes must be committed to upon the commencement of each module and cannot be changed thereafter, extenuating circumstances notwithstanding.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I eat before attending the class?

As with all yoga practice, refrain from eating for at least 1 ½ - 2 hours beforehand, Depending on your digestion, it might be helpful to leave even longer; listen to your body.

  • I'm worried I might hurt myself doing a yoga class, how can I make sure I practice safely?

Always take care to stay within your own personal realm of ability. NEVER push or try to force yourself into a posture as this is when you are most likely to hurt yourself. PLEASE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN BODY. It really isn’t important if you can ‘get into the position’ or not, it’s HOW YOU PRACTICE that counts.

As a rough guide consider this: if you are struggling to breathe properly, you are not practising properly.
