Make a Silver Ring

Description

Make your own ring as a unique gift or a custom piece of jewellery to keep in this private experience with The Silver Duck. With the help of Charlotte, The Silver Duck’s owner and an independent local creator, you’ll use the tools and techniques to make and finish your own piece. Charlotte has been teaching and hosting workshops since 2013. 

Charlotte can help you with design inspiration but she finds it always helps when a guest comes along with a design or style in mind. She will have sample designs and images to help you decide on your own personal design.

Once you’ve developed your design with Charlotte you’ll choose, cut, shape and hammer your silver. If you’d like any texturing on your finished piece you can practice texturing techniques in copper first. This is a chance to make your own memorable piece of jewellery as a gift or something special to keep, with an experienced Bristol maker.
