About The Agp Clinical Academy
In 2014 the AGP Clinical Academy was established to further the development, implementation, dissemination and evaluation of AGP reporting systems for use in conjunction with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technologies. Based in Portsmouth, UK, the AGP Clinical Academy is a collaborative organization associated with Portsmouth Hospitals (National Health Service Trust). Founded by Professor Roger Mazze, developer of AGP and Dr. Iain Cranston, an endocrinologist with extensive clinical experience with glucose sensing and insulin delivery technologies. Over the past four years, the Academy has prepared, tested and delivered a comprehensive core curriculum designed to acquaint clinicians and researchers with AGP use in care, research and education. The Academy has held introductory training programs in India, the Gulf Region, Australia, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, China, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Brazil and South Africa along with sessions at the IDF, EASD and ATTD. In-depth training programs were held in the UK, Germany, Portsmouth and South Africa.
