Summer Wardrobe - Sew a Vest Top - Stretch / Knit Fabric

In this 3 hour session we will the Beatrice Tank pattern by Jailie, you will receive a copy of the pattern as part of the workshop (RRP £22.60)

Lindsey who has a wealth of experience is sewing stretchy knitted fabrics will be here to guide you through the process of making your vest top, the pattern comes with two different styles for you to choice. Once you have made your vest top you can make it again as a dress (the pattern for both options is included.

Lindsey will cover all aspects of construction of the garment, starting with selection of the right size for you and tracing and cutting your pattern pieces. She will help you to learn how to cut fabric efficiently using a rotary cutter and self healing mat. Once all the preparations are complete you will make up the garment using an overlocker (if you have one to bring) and sewing machine, you can use one of the Studio Pfaff sewing machines.

You will need to provide your own fabric we will provide you with discounted fabric bundles a month before the workshop. 

Tea, cake and a warm and encouraging atmosphere are included in the workshop price.
