Sonny Jacket - Sew with Hannah

Description

Make your own super versatile Sonny Jacket - so far I have made two (see the photos) in reclaimed denim and green needlecord. The pattern comes in two lengths with two collar options so you can really make this easy fit jacket your own. A copy of the pattern is included in the workshop (RRP £18.50) 

Join us over three Friday daytime sessions to create your jacket:

week one - choosing sizing and style, cutting out fabrics, applying interfacing 

week two - assembling the main jacket - creating the mock flat felled seams and pocket details

week three - tackling the collar and finishing the jacket

Although the above is the plan we can adjust to suit each student, it is expected that some sewing is done at home too. No need to bring your machine as the Studio is full of our PFAFF demo sewing machines and overlockers.

Fabric bundles are available with all notions needed - you can also source your fabrics just ping a message for the requirement list. If you fancy giving the up cycling jeans option a try I used three pairs in my cropped length jacket - best to find denim with minimal stretch.
