Beginners Sewing Workshop - Smock style top/dress 'Indigo'

If you new to sewing or just want some tuition to improve your techniques or learn to read and follow a pattern this is the sewing workshop for you!

During the day we will make a cute, comfy smock top ‘INDIGO” the Tilly and the Buttons pattern (included in the workshop cost). Helen will teach you how to choose the right size for you, how to prepare the fabric and pattern to be set up for success. You can also choose to create this design in a longer length to make a dress. 

Bring your machine or borrow one from the studio to construct your smock top or dress. Help is available all day as your create your garment.

If you would like to take advantage of the discounted fabric bundle for this workshop we will include enough lovely light weight cotton fabric for the largest size together with thread and interfacing. This pattern goes up to a UK24 (bust 48 inches).

Whats included - your pattern to keep, full tuition, tea/coffee and homemade cake. 

What to bring - fabric and notions as per the list supplied prior to the class (unless you would like to take advantage of the fabric bundle), lunch and your sewing machine if you wish.
