Description

Join Lindsey for a half day leggings workshop. Bring your overlocker or borrow a studio sewing machine and learn how to create leggings to fit you.

This pattern is a free one from patterns for pirates so you can download and read through the instructions ahead of time if you wish but we will provide you a paper copy on the day.

Lindsey is here to guide you through the process of your first stretch leggings. She will cover all aspects of construction of the garment, starting with selection of the right size for you and cutting your pattern pieces. She will help you to learn how to cut fabric efficiently using a rotary cutter and self healing mat. Once all the preparations are complete you will make up the garment using an overlocker if you have one or sewing machine.

You will need to provide your own fabric (1.5m of stretch fabric with 4 way stretch and good recovery) or purchase one of the fabric bundles available from Stitching Kitchen which are listed as an add on to the ticket price.

As aways you will have a fun time in a supportive and inclusive environment, with a cuppa and cake to keep you going during the workshop.
