As we breakthrough into spring it's time to refresh your wardrobe for the summer with the Ogden Cami, a great layering piece which is also perfect for a summers day. This beginners workshop will help build your skills with the opportuntiy to learn about partical linings, understitching and creating straps.
To measure your body to find the best size for you
How to construct the cami top using a sewing machine and iron to press seams.
Ensuring the partial lining sits well against the body with understitching
Creating and turning straps
Finishing the cami with a neat hem
Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).
Use of our Pfaff machines in Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio.
A paper copy of the Ogden Cami by True Bias pattern in your size worth £21.75 is included, fabric bundles will be available to buy too just add to the cart along with your ticket, images of the fabric choices are in the photos above.
Tea and cake.
Fabric and notions unless you have purchased a bundle from us. A packed lunch as we will break for lunch half way through.
Please note that this workshop is held in our light and spacious first floor studio at Stitching Kitchen, which is accessible by stairs.
