This workshop will builds the skills and confidence of tutors, trainers and assessors, to enable them to have conversations about mental health and wellbeing with their learners.
The course focuses on knowing how to better support your learners through effective communication will create an environment of trust and understanding. This course will enable you to:
Build positive relationships and rapport with your learners
Use a range of questioning techniques with your learners to have discussions about wellbeing
Being able to use effective questioning techniques
Develops active listening skills
Maintain confidentiality and know how to make referrals

• This course can be completed bilingually. Workshops are in English. Support and mentoring for assignments and practical units can be in Welsh.
• This course can take between 3 months and a year to complete. We work at a pace to suit you, and will encourage you to complete in a timely manner.
• You may be eligible for funding for this course. Please ask about this on application. (Funding is limited and eligibility criteria apply)
