This course provides clinical information about all forms of contraception and is particularly useful for nurses, midwives, health visitors, doctors, youth workers, teachers and outreach workers who are not trained in contraceptive methods.
Aim: To increase participants’ knowledge of contraception, enabling them to promote positive sexual health and support clients with contraception decision making
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course participants will have:

the ability to communicate more confidently with clients about contraception
increased awareness of resources that can be used to support their work
