This FREE class focuses on experimenting with watercolour paints, and having fun making greeting cards, by creating abstract styled flowers. A great class for beginners and those wanting to learn how to draw flower shapes.

A Beginner's Watercolour class where we will paint and experiment with watercolours, creating a fun, floral greeting card.
We will use watercolour paints to create shapes and draw flowers with pen/ink.
The course includes a short video explaining the materials used for the class.
A great introduction to making your own greeting cards, drawing using pen/ink and using watercolour paints. This is a non-technical class, purely for fun.
Class includes:
-Learn to paint in a more abstract, non-representational style!
-Learn how to use pen/ink to create and draw flowers
-Using watercolour paints loosely

An art pen is recommended for class: black ink, size 0.1 which is waterproof and fade resistant. Art pens are available in shops that supply art materials and cost approx £1.50 up to £2 each. They can also be bought online.
We will be using watercolour paints. You can use a watercolour pan set, or watercolour tubes for this course. If you don't have watercolours but have gouache paints, you could use them.
The course includes a short video that goes through materials used in the class, and explains about the materials.
Most courses will require: paints (e.g. watercolour), a pointed brush, and waterproof art pen. Classes that include drawing use a HB pencil and good quality eraser. More details and tips regarding materials are included in the course video.
