About Kate Smith
Part of my journey has been to work on my own Ikigai; my soul purpose. This beautiful experience began after transitioning from Headship and into freelance coaching and consultancy in 2020. I continue to work on my raison d’etre, by recognising what it is that I am good at, what brings me joy, and what my family, my community and my clients need. Leadership is about taking people on a journey to a better place, but is also about being a leader in your own life and learning to love yourself. Today, I am an accredited Resilient Leadership, Life Story and Therapeutic Arts Coach. I am also the proud Network Leader for HeadsUp4HTs, an incredible community of aspiring, serving and former Headteachers across the Uk and beyond.
