The International Organization for Academic Distance Education (IOADE) is a not-for-profit organisation, registered as a limited by guarantee under British law. We are approved as a global NGO. IOADE exists as an independent platform to share knowledge and improve understanding amongst professionals in distance education and e-learning. IOADE represents its members and provides advocacy and support around the advancement of online, open and academic distance learning. Therefore, the IOADE community together undertakes a various number of higher education activities and projects,that works towards bringing accessible, quality education to all through online, open and distance learning Our members come from all regions of the world. They are respectable and experienced change makers who network and collaborate to share their expertise, insight and resources to a global community of learners. It is our core priority, to achieve a standardization in quality, professional and ethical standards in distance learning and to establish an academic distance education and e-learning framework worldwide.
