What's New in Microsoft Project 2016? What's new in Microsoft Project 2016? Project 2016 has all the functionality and features you're used to, and some added enhancements and new features. We will provide you an explanation and demonstrations of top new features you'll find in Project 2016, including: More flexible timelines, which allows you to leverage multiple timelines to illustrate different phases or categories of work. You can also set the start and end dates for each timeline separately. We will preview the Resource Engagement that allows for better control over resource scheduling (Note this will only work if you're using Project Professional 2016 connected to Project Online). We will explain how to do things quickly with Tell Me, which is a text field where you can enter words and phrases related to what you want to do next and quickly get to features you want to use or actions you want to perform.
