Intermediate level
The vestibular system is a complex sensory system responsible for maintaining balance, spatial orientation, and coordinating eye and head movements. Its role in child development is fundamental, influencing motor skills, sensory integration, cognitive abilities, and emotional regulation.
Activities that provide vestibular stimulation play a crucial role in fostering healthy development and supporting children in various aspects of learning and growth. For children facing vestibular challenges, targeted interventions can help improve their functional abilities and overall well-being.
Rehabilitation strategies aim to alleviate symptoms, improve balance, and enhance performance in various activities, while testing procedures aid in diagnosing vestibular disorders to facilitate targeted interventions.
