Do you struggle with giving tricky feedback? Saying something important that you think others won't want to hear? Standing up for yourself and sharing your thoughts or needs? You are NOT alone! Having worked in a support role for a decent sized employer in the UK for over a decade, we KNOW that this is a challenge for many: a silent struggle that often goes untackled, unsupported and unresolved. Worse still, this is not a status quo without cost. It costs teams, departments and businesses in lost talent, efficiency and poor mental health. It costs YOU too; stress, anxiety, overwork and challenging relationships.
We know there's a better way and we'd like to share the core concepts with you! We won't be telling you what to do; that won't work. What we will be doing is sharing insights, tools and strategies that will allow you to build your confidence and develop your own 'tool kit' for the trickier conversations in your life.
We'll be exploring:
Essential information about humans and stuff that's hard to hear Getting clear about the issue ABC Messaging Moving forward
Here's what some of our delegates thought:
'5 stars! This session is a great introduction to how having difficult conversations can create a more open and honest culture in an organisation.'
'5 Stars! Great session lots of practical examples given and frameworks to support reframing going forward.'
'5 Stars.I have been on a few webinars now and have always learnt so much. The content is delivered in an engaging way and I like that there are discussions that happen throughout - gives it a good balance of listening and discussion. I will forever recommend webinars from The Happy Human and look forward to any further upcoming webinars.'
This is an interactive workshop to give you the opportunity to think, explore and share your challenges and thoughts. You'll work in very small groups and we'll be considerate and respectful of personal preferences throughout. We know that's tough for some, but here's the rub - communication is something we can only get better at if we practice it out loud. We hope you'll give us a chance to show you what a difference a little support and kindness can make!
