A sixty-minute workshop making a Father Christmas, approximately 8cm. Your Father Christmas can be worn as a brooch or used as a Christmas decoration.
A fun foray into felting with Furzie! Michelle Hickman has been teaching the craft for ten years and has recently published a book on the subject.
You will be given a kit to keep with all materials - one of each character: a Father Christmas to be made on the day and a Reindeer to make at home. Your kit also includes a foam felting pad, two needles, two brooch pins, wool and instructions. This and other kits will also be available to purchase. Sorry, but not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
The workshop will be held at the Craft4Crafters show at The Bath and West Showground, Somerton, Somerset - please note that you will need to pay for entry to the show. Tickets can be purchased on the door or at an early bird rate direct from their website: https://craft4crafters.ticketsrv.co.uk/tickets/

Woollen fibres are bonded together using specially designed barbed needles to form a firm material which can be made into 3-D shapes.
No sewing (or glueing) involved. You will be amazed how the fibres bond together with just a little stabbing.
No! We use a wire armature frame in the models which immediately helps you with proportions. You will be gently guided through the entire process. Relax and enjoy - you only have yourself to please.
We want to keep everyone safe, so if you feel unwell on the day and are unable to attend the show, we will post your kit to you for a small extra charge for postage.
