My name is Sven Lauch, and I am an accredited Emotional Logic coach based in Plymouth, England. After growing up in East Germany and experiencing the fall of the Berlin Wall when I was 15, I struggled with setting boundaries and identifying them for many years. But everything changed when I learned about Emotional Logic, a skillset that helped me make sense of my emotions, identify my values, and create value-based action plans to navigate conflict and boundaries successfully.
In this course, you will learn about the emotional challenges and inner conflicts involved in boundary setting. You will discover what triggers emotions, how to identify and prioritise your values and consider your privacy needs. In the last section, we will look at communication and negotiation styles and the emotional challenges that you might encounter when you plan to set your boundaries.
This course consists of six short videos and practical tools and exercises. To enhance your learning experience, you will complete a brief reflective questionnaire at the end of each lesson. And I will give you a short feedback once you've completed the course.
To get the most out of this course, we recommend that you take your time and watch the videos multiple times, read the transcripts, and use the assignments as your personal journal to reflect and deepen your learning. Remember to feel it before you try to fix it.
