English Chamber Orchestra and Music Society Registered Charity no.226894 The English Chamber Orchestra & Music Society is a charity brought together in the early 1960s by Leopold de Rothschild to further the activities of the, then young, English Chamber Orchestra in its concert giving activities in the UK and abroad. The Society is honoured by the patronage of HRH King Charles III. To achieve its aims it raises funds both through the concerts it promotes and by corporate and individual donations. In addition to its concert giving activities the Society has recently been most supportive of the Orchestra’s outreach work. English Chamber Orchestra Charitable Trust Registered Charity no.1071240 The English Chamber Orchestra Charitable Trust aims to promote artistic and innovative concerts in London, with an emphasis on encouraging young people to realise the great joy of classical music making and promoting and advancing the careers of young talented musicians through high-profile performance opportunities with the English Chamber Orchestra.
