C02M01 - FD&FA Domestic - BS5839-6
Delegates will develop knowledge of the requirements for the design, installation and commissioning of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm systems within domestic properties in compliance with the requirements of BS 5839-6 and other codes of practice. A particular focus of this module is the use and application of Grade A, C and D-type systems.
On completion of this course and the Exam - L3 Award in the Requirements of FD&FA Systems for Non-Domestic Buildings BS 5839-1: 2017, learners may progress to sitting the L3 Exam - L3 award in the requirements of FD&FA systems for domestic buildings BS 5839-6.
Who should attend?
Anyone involved in the procurement, delivery, and checking, of FD&FA systems within a domestic environment and those who have any responsibility for fire safety within a building e.g., architects, service managers, building/property managers, consultants, fire risk assessors, electrical contractors, fire alarm contractors, interested parties (F&RS, building control, insurers)
