Join us for the first of our in-person sessions hosted by Cedar Mount Academy, M18 7DT. This session on Space is led by Graham Perrin, Physics Partners Coach.
This session examines how space can be used as a vehicle to cover other parts of the curriculum. We also look at astronomical cycles like days, seasons, and years using simulations . It details stellar evolution, outlining the life cycle of stars from protostars to red giants, white dwarfs, and supernovae . Lastly, it covers Big Bang evidence, including red shift and cosmic microwave background radiation
This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. This session is part of the Manchester South Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
