This in-person workshop on Maths for Physics is led by Christina Astin and Hayley Jones, Coaches for Physics Partners and hosted by School of Science and Technology Maidstone. Refreshments and the opportunity to network from 3.45pm.

Teaching Maths for Physics

How can we work more closely with our maths colleagues to ensure that teaching order, approaches and language are aligned? How can we support our students with the mathematical demands of physics whilst helping their cognitive understanding? We will look at graphs, equations, units, standard form and more.

These sessions are for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists, early career teachers and teacher trainees. Technicians are also welcome to attend.

This CPD session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners and forms part of the Maidstone Physics Hub series of twilight sessions generously supported by the Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust.
