Finance for Non-Finance Managers

Description

This course is taught using a set of principles and methodologies developed by us to give participants a system they can always refer to any time they get stuck trying to interpret financial information. 

We have developed a 4-box model for teaching accounting which makes the process of breaking down any transaction natural for the nonaccountant. The system works without the need to learn any double-entry accounting, participants apply the system and instinctively know what to do. This is followed up with another 4-box model we developed to completely break down financial analysis and ratios into the most fundamental metrics required of every role in an organization.

Our approach is to teach financial analysis by making each participant aware of how their role and actions directly impact the company's bottom line. 

Participants will also be able to interpret the financial statement in a natural way using a third model (the 5 Box Balance Sheet) to analyze business performance effectively. 

This instructor-led course includes: 

• 2 weeks of self-paced essential learning content that you are to complete before the instructor-led live virtual sessions begin. 

• 4 instructor-led virtual sessions of 2 hours each. Each Session will have a 15-minute break. 

• Intersession Assignments that you are expected to complete and discuss in your preassigned groups during the session. 

• 1 Capstone Project
