AA Shooting School provides clay pigeon shooting lessons near Sturminster Newton in North Dorset. Located close to the Wiltshire and Somerset borders, we are ideally placed for weekend breaks or longer holidays, with local accommodation nearby. We offer personal one-to-one sessions by appointment to introduce you to the sport, or to refine your technique. If you’re looking for an exciting activity for a group, then clay pigeon shooting is a great option. We welcome stag and hen parties, family groups, friends, and corporates. Our traps provide a wide range of targets to suit all abilities, while the tower simulates game drives. If you’re looking to improve a particular target, then we can focus on that area, and provide constructive and useful pointers to help. Our lessons will take you through a guided introduction to clay pigeon shooting SAFETY FIRST Safety equipment We provide all safety equipment We take safety seriously. All visitors to the school will be provided with ear protection, and eye protection is provided for those shooting. We follow the BASC shotgun safety code of practice at all times. ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR Association of Professional Shooting Instructors Norman Fuller is a qualified clay shooting instructor and a member of the Association of Professional Shooting Instructors (APSI). His many years of experience are ideal for introducing beginners to clay pigeon shooting, or for helping seasoned shots to refine their technique. Whatever your level, you’re assured of a patient and experienced instructor to help you make the most of your day.
