East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Businesswise Solutions Ltd and BOOST are supporting Lancashire businesses in saving money and reducing their carbon footprint. This £6m European Union, European Regional Development Fund, part funded programme is committed to the provision of a FREE suite of services aimed to help businesses improve energy and environmental efficiencies, introduce on site renewable energy generation and save money. We're also here to help you if you are developing a new piece of low carbon technology and want to get it into the market, see it manufactured locally or find your dream customer. Every business signing up to the project is entitled to free support in environmental and energy saving good practice and help financing low carbon technology adoption, which will be delivered via a suite of masterclasses and 1-2-1 bespoke support.

Tackling the climate crisis together through practical action. Low Carbon Oxford North (LCON) is a charity set up in 2010 by local residents to support ambitious CO2 cuts through local action. We work with our community, offering practical ideas, information and activities, to help combat the climate crisis. LCON’s aim is to contribute to ambitious CO2 reductions by 2030 including a zero-carbon Oxford.

Cenex was established as the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell technologies in 2005. Today, Cenex focuses on low emission transport & associated energy infrastructure and operates as an independent, not-for-profit research technology organisation (RTO) and consultancy, specialising in project delivery, innovation support and market development. We also organise Cenex-EXPO, the UK’s premier low carbon vehicle event, to showcase the latest technology and innovation in the industry. Low Carbon Heating training; essential for all installers As the heating industry evolves, engineers must have a broader range of skills. With the government’s target to install 600,000 heat pumps each year, gas engineers and plumbers are being called upon to upskill and help to meet the demand. Thanks to these legally binding targets to cut carbon, the introduction of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and an uplift to Part L of the Building Regulations which focuses on Low-Temperature Heating & Hot Water Systems, heat pumps are now a natural development for the heating market and should be considered by any heating installation company or engineer; whether they work with gas, LPG, solid fuel, oil or bio-mass. James Hargreaves is committed to ensuring that the next generation of heating engineers have the specialist skills and practical experience required to install and maintain innovative modern low-carbon technologies that reduce environmental impact. Our training courses at the Low Carbon Centre in Burnley are designed to help installers obtain the skills they need to take advantage of the UK's Low Carbon future.

Oxfordshire Greentech is a business network supporting the growth of the low-carbon sector in Oxfordshire. We bring together businesses and organisations to encourage innovation, collaboration and knowledge transfer, to facilitate the transition towards a sustainable, low carbon future in Oxfordshire and the world. Oxfordshire Greentech started as part of the OxFutures programme, which was a £3.2m project to boost low carbon economic development in Oxfordshire. It was supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and run through a collaborative partnership between the Low Carbon Hub, Cherwell District Council, Bioregional, Oxford City Council, the University of Oxford, and Oxford Brookes University.
