The Goalie Guide offers a unique service for hockey goalkeepers by providing
additional strength & conditioning training that focuses on the key fundamentals
required as a goalkeeper: stability/balance, agility, speed, explosiveness and
strength. This is something that I identified throughout my playing career, and
as a coach, which lacked acknowledgement and was not provided as part of
standard goalkeeper (GK) training, all the way from junior to senior level
players. Too often we see goalkeepers who are not robust enough to withstand the
rigours of the game, sadly meaning their full potential is never reached. Our
coaching delivers structured, programmed sessions that improve: a goalkeeper's
physical conditioning, performance, techniques and technical focus all whilst
having fun.
