Carlisle
Vega, who runs the Studio, has over 20 years experience working with prints,
teaching art and printmaking. As well as being a fully qualified art teacher,
she has an MA in the History of Printmaking (Distinction for Thesis, London) and
an MA in Fine Art and Education (Distinction, Northumbria). She has worked at
Tate Britain’s Print Study Room, Leeds City Art Gallery and Eastthorpe Visual
Arts (now West Yorkshire Print Studio). She is a founding member of Cumbria
Printmakers. In 2009 she set up Art Educators North West, a network for Artist
Educators and Art Teachers in Cumbria and Lancashire. She is Chair of the Tullie
