The Plant Medicines Cacao is known as the "food of the gods.” It has been used for centuries in ceremonial settings to open the heart, connect with our inner essence, and clear stagnant emotional energy from the body. Sip on a warm cup of ceremonial Cacao, prepared with intention and love, as it takes you on a journey and guides you back to your heart. Rapé is a powerful shamanic medicine renowned for its purifying and grounding properties. It is snuff made from tobacco and other medicinal or sacred trees which is applied by being blown into each nostril. Our team will offer individual servings of high-quality Rapé, made by indigenous tribes. You will have the opportunity to choose the strength of your dose, allowing you to navigate this sacred medicine at your own pace. The application of Rapé immediately focuses the mind, stops its chattering, and creates space. It helps release emotional, physical, and spiritual illness and eases negativity and confusion, facilitating clarity, alignment, and a profound connection with yourself. Sananga is a traditional Brazilian medicine used for both spiritual and physical healing. Sananga possesses the ability to clear blocked energies, offering emotional, spiritual, and physical release. The plant-based eye drops are said to enhance eyesight and have long been used by indigenous tribes to prevent and treat ocular diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, near-sightedness, and blindness. Leave the outside world behind and join us for an ecstatic dance journey, merging powerful beats, heart-opening cacao, and grounding Rapé with soulful intention. This alcohol and drug-free event is a space to move freely, express yourself fully, and enjoy being part of our amazing community. Event Flow: Doors open at 11.30am No entry after 12.15pm to maintain the integrity of the space. We'll begin with warm-up music from 11.30 - 12.15pm to help you settle in. Rapé will be served between 11.30 and 12.15pm—please book this when you book your ticket if you would like to receive Rapé. At 12.15pm, we’ll share a ceremonial cacao together, a sacred plant medicine to open your heart and energise your body, preparing you for the dance. The dance begins at 12.30pm. Holly, our phenomenal resident DJ, will guide you through an eclectic mix of deep, tribal, and uplifting beats. Known for her ability to craft sets that resonate deeply with the body, mind, and soul, Holly will take you on a journey where every track invites you to move more freely and feel more alive. The cool down will be from 2 - 2.30pm. Venue: Never For Ever is known for its chic, warehouse-style interior and vibrant atmosphere. It has an incredible line-up of non-alcoholic cocktails making it the perfect setting for our dance. After the dance, you're welcome to stay, relax, and grab a bite to eat and connect with the community - the food is AMAZING. The entrance to the dance is the door on the far left of the building. As you enter, come down the stairs immediately in front of you and follow the corridor round to the space. Etiquette: To create a safe and sacred space for everyone: No talking on the dance floor - let your body do the communicating. This is a sober event. Help us keep the space light and clear. We begin with a traditional cacao ceremony, run by Giada, Shamanic Teacher, founder of Art and Spirituality and School of Shamanism. This is an ancient ritual that uses pure ceremonial-grade cacao to foster connection, mindfulness, and self-reflection. In a peaceful and sacred space, you'll be guided through a journey of meditation, gratitude, and intention-setting, allowing the cacao to open your heart and deepen your inner awareness. Following the ceremony, we will move a fun and interactive vegan chocolate cake cooking class run by Gloria, Founder of Madebyflour. Using wholesome, plant-based ingredients, you'll learn how to create a rich and decadent chocolate cake that’s both delicious and healthy. Our simple, step-by-step approach ensures you’ll be able to recreate this indulgent treat. This class offers a perfect blend of spiritual nourishment and culinary creativity. Please add a note in your booking if you have any dietary requirement or allergy. The lessons are suitable for all levels of experience and materials are provided. This is also the meaning of the scientific name given to the cacao plant Theobroma Cacao (Theo - God, broma - drink). To give the cacao spirit the opportunity to enter the person who takes it, the traditional way is to do it through a specific ceremony. It has been used for millennia by the indigenous peoples of Central America as an essential element in rituals. The Cacao Spirit was considered one of the most important deities in the Mayan cosmovision. In Mexico, the Aztecs considered it so precious that cocoa beans were regarded as coins. Ceremonial cacao is very different from the cacao found in our supermarkets. It is produced by simply cold milling cocoa beans from indigenous plants, after which the beans are lightly roasted and peeled. In this way, the cacao contains all the elements of the fruit in its entirety, including the cacao butter, which in industrial production is immediately separated. Returning to the ceremony, the intake of cacao is a sacred moment to connect with the Divine through a deep inner journey from the heart. Cacao has the property of encouraging a loving opening of the heart, allowing you to listen to the deepest parts of yourself. it is through the Heart that the connection with Heaven, Heart of Heaven, and with Earth, Heart of Earth, takes place. The heart is the seat of love in all traditional cultures, sometimes it is also the seat of some wounds that one receives in life, that is why Cacao has an effect first of all of releasing and releasing the emotions that bring the pains of life, but later it connects the individual with the true and great Heart, seat of infinite, unlimited Love.
