FAA Level 2 Award In First Aid For Mental Health (RQF) Classroom (1 day course) or Virtual (3 x 2½ hour sessions) Gives learners knowledge of Mental Health First Aid Gives learners the skills to help those with mental health problems and improve mental health in the workplace Course Contents: What is Mental Health? The two-day Youth MHFAider® course is tailored for people who teach, work, live with, support and care for young people aged 8 to 18. This mental health first aid course can be attended by anyone from age 16 upwards.

The two-day Adult MHFAider® courses are tailored around supporting adults, and can be attended by anyone from age 16 upwards. A lot of the education settings we work with have now trained a number of Adult MHFAider®’s to support their colleagues as part of their whole-school/college approach to mental health and wellbeing.

Course Details Aims This mental health awareness training course is a mandatory requirement for working within health and social care. The course forms standard 9 of The Care Certificate. All staff working with individuals who suffer with mental health should take this course.
