We excel at delivering training into schools, academies and colleges across the UK; our main objectives are: for the students to enjoy and be interactive with the learning to increase their awareness of their own skills and development areas, and to increase their confidence levels for the students to understand what’s expected of them in future years All courses are prepared, school branded and delivered according to the year group and the learning outcomes required by yourself. We can even provide you with a set of homework questions for the students to work on related to the delivery. Deliveries can be to form time, a lesson, enrichment periods, drop downs, assemblies, work experience and careers weeks or summer school; all onsite or online. BOOST Life Skills also co-hosts and delivers online during evenings to parents to help them understand how they can support students with the development of these skills. Online is very scalable across multiple classes at the same time for the same single cost per lesson. A PDF 1 page summary, learning log and school/academy branded certificate for the students are also available. Onsite training delivery costs are more variable due to complexity and location and are available on discussion/application. BOOST Life Skills are proud of our network of trainers that deliver interactive soft/employability skills training into schools, academies and colleges across the UK. The training is delivered by myself, built upon my 25 years of experience in multi-national businesses and recruitment up to Director level, or a skilled trainer with substantial educational training and work environment experience that really understands the importance of these essential skills.

“I’ve always held the belief that we are all creative beings, and that given the right conditions, everyone is able to explore their strengths and reach their full potential.” Inspired at a young age to pursue creative disciplines, Tina began her career as a design and fine arts teacher and tutor. Working in further education colleges in impoverished and crime-riddled neighborhoods in the UK, she quickly encountered the challenges inherent in supporting students that had complex needs. These were young people struggling with violence and trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, low self-esteem and, in some cases, undiagnosed neurodiversity. They struggled to learn in the same way as other students did and were often marginalized by an academic system that measures success solely through targets and standardized tests. Tina quickly realized that no matter the resources or skills of staff available, when individuals are not emotionally and psychologically stable, they simply cannot excel. Driven by a deep compassion and a struggle she could understand, having grown up with violence and unrecognized neurodiversity in her own family, Tina sought ways to create an environment where young people could thrive and flourish, access their strengths and develop confidence. “I’ve always believed that every individual has their own unique strengths and in the right environment every person can get to know what those strengths are.” Training in counselling for drug addiction and Neuro-Linguistic Programming provided a foundation for a more holistic approach. She saw the success that her students experienced when they felt supported in a safe haven; a stress-free space of true presence and non-judgment where they could explore themselves freely through their creative process and develop confidence.

My name is Lucy and I run LSB Learning, an online tutoring company offering 1:1 quality lessons in maths for all ages. I am a fully qualified teacher with over 10 years teaching experience. I have a degree in Early Years education with qualified teacher status and in the past have worked as a full time primary school teacher. I also have taught secondary school students specialising in children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and I excel teaching children with social anxiety as my approach to learning is to be patient, take my time with concepts and not rush. I have a soft and understanding persona and my sessions are very much student led. I offer online tutoring sessions only. Currently, I am offering 1:1 maths sessions from Primary to GCSE level. I specialise in the Home Tutor market and have availability during the day. I specialise in Maths and have taught maths from primary up to GCSE Level. I also have experience in maths functional skills and am willing to teach maths skills to adults who want to develop their skills in this area to help with college and university admissions or simply to brush up on your skills. My approach to tutoring is engaging and hands-on. I am very passionate about maths which shows through my teaching. I am skilled in teaching different ages and abilities and as a result, I am well trained in adapting my sessions to meet the different needs of each and every student.
