Based in Northern Ireland, we are a trauma-informed team of individuals who are dedicated to helping you heal from your trauma in a safe and confidential way. We are modelled after similar evidence based programmes in the United States. Recentre is founded by an American, who herself had been through a trauma support programme and residential. Now living in Northern Ireland, Holly is hoping to impart the same support she had access to and help others to thrive after trauma. Trauma can affect you in many different ways, each a valid reaction to abnormal circumstances. These reactions can be physical, mental, or both. Learning Pool was founded in 2006 to bring online learning into organisations in a collaborative way. Originally focused on sharing online learning content amongst government bodies, we took that concept and built out the offer to enable performance improvement and modernisation. Autism is lifelong and affects the social and communication centre of the brain. Autism affects the way an individual relates to people, situations and the immediate environment. Many individuals with autism have difficulty processing everyday sensory information like sight, smells, touch, tastes and sounds. Autism is a spectrum condition; it will affect people in different ways depending on the individual and varies from person to person.
