The school was created and devised to teach and train dedicated students who wish to achieve the little extra that dance has to offer. At RBS&PA, students young and old, study and learn to appreciate this beautiful art form in a fully supervised and artistic environment. Students are taught the The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Syllabus. It is one of the world's leading dance examination boards. Formed in 1904, today it is a registered educational charity which covers the full spectrum of dance throughout the world.
Beauty Training Direct is an independent Beauty Training Academy, located in the peaceful surroundings of Holmfield Mills on the outskirts of Halifax. We offer education to those wishing to enter into a career within the Health & Beauty Industry. Our relaxed, friendly and professional approach ensures students leave us with the confidence and the ability to gain employment within this ever-growing sector. The small class numbers ensure students receive individual support from our experienced tutors. We offer full National Vocational courses from Level 2 NVQ Beauty Therapy, continuing onto Level 3 and 4 Advanced Beauty Therapy, and are fully accredited and recognised with VTCT. Our Accredited fast track courses are available evenings and weekends and are suitable for beginners or qualified therapists wishing to add or update their skills and all courses are fully insurable. We offer ongoing support to all students at no extra cost where possible.
Kent Music Summer School has been a part of the summer experience for young musicians in Kent for over 70 years. From new starters to experienced players, it’s a place for everyone to enjoy themselves and enrich their summers, making friends and memories to last a lifetime!
The Dance School of Scotland is Scotland’s only fully funded Centre of Excellence for vocational dance and musical theater training. The School, which is funded by The Scottish Government, is incorporated into Knightswood Secondary School in the West End of Glasgow.
The Billericay Arts Association (BAA) was set up in 1979 as a registered charity to run The Fold as a community arts centre. It is run and staffed by unpaid volunteer members; only class tutors are paid on a salaried basis. It is financed by its own activities and occupies The Fold rent-free from Basildon District Council. The bulk of its funds come from class fees and hiring out rooms; other income comes from BAA events, membership subscriptions, donations, grants and the sale of refreshments.
Fit the Mould was created 10 years ago, and over the years has developed from renting small village halls to hosting 100+ attendee dance competitions and the UK’s number one elite residential dance summer camp. Alongside running our annual events, Fit The Mould is also a professional Production Company that produces new musicals and concept video productions.
Welcome to our fantastic dance school in the centre of Herne Hill! South London Dance School was founded in 2001 and we moved into our own studios in 2009. We give children and adults of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn and enjoy a wide range of dance styles. Your aim might be to become a professional dancer one day, or simply to keep fit and have fun. Whatever your dreams or aspirations, we have the right class(es) for you. We have experienced and inspiring dance teachers who are fully committed to passing on their in-depth knowledge and passion for dance. Our teachers are ex-performers and / or are qualified by the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance).
At KDA we also offer many opportunities to train with industry professionals throughout the year doing various workshops in various styles. During school holidays we put on dance days for our students and in the summer holiday we hold our annual school where the children attend daily for the week working on different dance styles, performance skills and singing techniques. Through out the week they work on routines and songs that we the present in a mini show at the end of the week for parents and carers.
