About Miss Vidler IT Our consultant Rachel Vidler is a qualified Primary school teacher, with a wealth of experience in both teaching and technology. Her teaching and ability to engage and inspire children through the use of technology, has been recognised, with her winning the prestigious Most Inspirational Teacher of the Year 2018 award. Her previous career in primary schools allows her to give support and guidance from all aspects of the profession, as she has been as a teacher, a coach and mentor, a member of senior leadership and a member of the governing body. She holds a first-class BEd (Hons) degree with QTS, alongside her NPQML qualification. Rachel was one of the first teachers to complete the DfE Subject Leader Expert qualification in 2015, working as an SLE for computing across the county. She now supports STEM Learning and the National Centre for Computing Education as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with schools across the East Midlands, East of England and East and South Yorkshire. Rachel also works alongside the NCCE nationally, as a Facilitator for their Teach Computing Primary Courses. Rachel proudly supports the Denbigh School Computing Hub working as their Primary Lead for Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. She works alongside the Hub Lead to support schools in the area, boosting engagement in computing and hosting CPD for teachers.

Hi I am Shola Cochrane, a British Wheel of Yoga certified teacher of 7 years and hold qualifications in Physiology and Anatomy and a Degree in Counselling and Psychology. Over 30 years ago, before beginning on my yoga journey, I had many issues that haunted me from my childhood that were still affecting my life in the 'now', which I tried to ignore for many years. I woke up one morning and thought “I’ve had enough! I WANT to change how I feel." Through a dear friend, I was introduced to the calming effects of Buddhism which ultimately led me to yoga (initially Iyengar Yoga) and I was immediately hooked to both. Along with talking therapies, yoga helped me to stop focussing on the past and stressing about the future, ultimately enabling me to be more in the present moment. In those moments I found an inner peace and calmness, of which I wanted more. Years later, training and qualifying as a mental health counsellor and working within Mental Health Services for 10 years, I witnessed the long lasting physical and emotional effects of stress and anxiety on both the body and mind of the individuals I worked with. This was the catalyst for my taking a leap of faith and retraining and becoming a yoga teacher.

Leona Creator of Artists Resource & Lead Facilitator Leona created Artists Resource in 2011 with the Mission “To bring people together, to nurture Creativity and facilitate Transformation – for the benefit of the individual and the community.” She started with one small Art club in North London and in just a couple of years had grown to teaching in Schools every day and hosting Art Parties and Classes at the weekend. In 2018-19, Leona has provided Art workshops for the England football team and BAFTA. Leona has a strong background in material processes and techniques, having a degree in Applied Arts and applying that throughout her career. Prior to setting up Artists Resource, Leona worked for a Art & Craft company, managing concession stands in Harrods, Hamleys and UK Trade Fairs and made Mosaic Murals for School Playgrounds with a local Artist. She also worked on the Art Dept for various independent short and feature films. Leona has specialised in Sculpture and Mosaic Art has her own Public Artworks in Mile End (E3), Muswell Hill (N10) and in various public and private sites in London. I have been working as a professional fitness coach in and around Nottingham for many years. In that time I have taught within the community and worked with a wide variety of people to enhance their health, fitness and wellbeing. My background is sport and fitness based having achieved a BSc (hons) Sport Science and Administration Degree. Since graduating I have taken on many coaching roles within the fitness industry to help develop and inspire those around me. I have run FitKid sessions for children as well as RSA Exercise To Music Courses for aspiring teachers, worked as a lecturer in local colleges and of course run fitness classes ranging from Circuits and Body Pump to Yoga and Step. I bring this vast experience to my current classes along with a passion to help people be the best they can be and have fun along the way. I have encouraged many people as they start on their fitness journey and motivated them to continue on their chosen path. I love my job, it’s great fun, always interesting and so rewarding… and that’s what I want for my participants.
