Emergency First Aid at Work. This 1-day FAA Level 3 Award course offers training for a variety of emergency first aid situations in the workplace. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these safely and efficiently.
3 Day First Aid Description: The full 3-day First Aid at Work Qualification is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. This qualification is valid for three year, after which delegates need to complete a 2-day refresher course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Learners receive a First Aid at Work guide book, a training dressing and a CPR barrier protection device. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. Condensed Emergency First Aid at Work covering topics within the full EFAW HSE syllabus This condensed Emergency First Aid at Work course covers the full Emergency First Aid at Work First Aid course syllabus, but with only an overview of CPR, AED and the Recovery Position. If you need to cover the full EFAW syllabus, please choose our First Aid for Work online course. This course serves as an excellent annual refresher for the fully regulated 3 day HSE FAW or EFAW course. As a stand-alone course it will award you an HSE Appointed Person First Aid qualification. Certificates are valid for 3 years and can be used as evidence of verifiable CPD.
