The Level 1 Award in Construction Health & Safety is required by individuals who are looking to become eligible for the Green CSCS Card. A CSCS Card is required in order to access many construction sites, carry out basic duties and build relevant experience to enable them to progress their career onto the next stage allowing them to progress to a level 2 or 3 Qualification. This Level 1 Award will provide the basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety principles and procedures and delivers a comprehensive and technical overview in relation to many construction relevant topics that are operatives require in order to operate safely within the Construction sector. Topics covered include Risk Assessment, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Moving Vehicles, Dust, Hazardous Substances, Asbestos, Welfare, Personal Hygiene, Fire, Work Equipment, Electricity, Underground Services, PPE, Mandatory signage and more!!!!! Candidates can undertake this qualification in a classroom based delivery followed by the CSCS test within a single day. The administration and photographs are included and the CSCS card is usually received within 5 to 10 days. The one day course can be delivered in any client venue or at various locations around the UK.

The Level 1 Award in Motor Vehicle Studies is designed to encourage and enable learners who have an interest in this area of study to acquire knowledge and skills to aid progression to further study or employment.

This is a part-time 2 months level-2 Foundation course in TCM and acupuncture. The course is designed to serve as a theoretical foundation for students with an interest in Oriental medicine and acupuncture or students who wish to deepen their TCM and acupuncture knowledge. The course is continuation to the Level 1 TCM and Acupuncture Foundation course and serves as a preparation module for students on practitioner- level courses in TCM, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Both weekend courses includes all meals, refreshments and certification in both Level 1 and Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. A Level 1 Qualification gives you basic knowledge and skills and the ability to apply learning with guidance.  Other examples of Level 1 qualifications are GCSE’s at graded D-G or 3-1, NVQ’s and Key skills Level 1. This qualification if Ofqual approved and attracts 9 credits. The credits relate to the size of the qualification, with 10 hours of content equating to 1 credit. Level 1 & 2 Combined Workshop (F2F) Level 1 Workshop is the starting point for your Makaton journey, with Level 2 building on the knowledge you gained in Level 1. It is recommended for people who need to use Makaton at home and in their work, to develop the communication skills of others. Content Level 1 & 2 training provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme and a wider understanding of learning and communication difficulties. The Workshop includes how to start using Makaton in everyday situations; immediate needs, home, familiar people, food, events, activities and objects. You will also discover hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use to maximise communication. Vocabulary will also be introduced which is ideal for the school environment and work places. You will begin to learn more abstract concepts such as spatial locations, attributes, pronouns and actions. Duration Level 1 & 2 combined face to face workshops comprise of a minimum of thirteen learning hours, (minimum of six and a half learning hours per level). Workshops generally will take place over two full day of training. Deliver method: Venue based.
